About You
I really enjoyed the insight and Deloitte made a real;l effort to make us feel welcome. They were very hospitable even including a dinner and a hotel
The employees at deloitte went above and beyond my expectations to make us feel welcome, even taking time out of their evenings to talk to us at the networking event and answer any questions we had
There was a lot of guidance and a lot of opportunities to ask questions- 2 of the graduate recruitment team accompanied us throughout.
I learnt good teamwork and presentation skills which I have since been able to use as part of my degree. I also found the information about the company's different service lines incredibly useful when it came to future career choices.
The Company
Overall, it was well structured, especially as I was attending the first ever scheme of this sort. However, some of the details had not been thought through- there was not enough time for toilet breaks and only 2 toilets for a group of 40. However, the staff running the scheme said they would amend this in the future
It was very fun and engaging- there were 2-3 interactive group activities each day, which broke up the days nicely as we were not just listening to presentations. The speakers were also very entertaining
A lot- not only did they provide us with very insightful games and gave us mock interviews and feedback on those interviews, but we had a talk from a professional body language expert on interview and networking skills
A lot, although the business games were sometimes unclear and what they actually wanted us to do had little relationship to the job
Extremely well, not only did we have talks on this, but we were also able to find out about it at the networking evening and over dinner
very helpful, although some of the games were a bit disorganised making it difficult to precisely tell what each service line did just from the games alone
Everything Else
reimbursed for expenses up to £50
A lot- not only was there a networking event and dinner, but we also got group feedback on the mock interview from our interviewer
Good- although the intern to employee ratio was perhaps a bit too high meaning I did not get the oppurtunity to ask all the questions I would have liked.
Yes, however it was hard to get all of it across as well as find out other things about the firm in only 2 days
yes- it was excellent and I really enjoyed it
