  • Provided an amazing insight into finance and how business works.

  • Built up trust with the team and later on in placement, was asked to complete very important tasks for them.

  • Responsibility was the most important part of this placement, if you can show that you can do the work then you will be trusted with huge amounts.

  • Relaxed and sociable atmosphere, obviously people have a lot of work to do though.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was around 60 interns as it was the HQ for this side of the world so the social life was better than I imagine many other companies would be.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • £200/month rent and cheap(ish) drink considering it's a non-University area.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Swindon isn't the type of place you'd voluntarily go to for a night out, but it is what it is.

  • Lots of sports clubs and the opportunity to go to Corporate games.
