I really enjoyed the internship, it is a great company to work for. The work was varied and you could shape opportunities and role based on interest. In making the role your own you had a lot more responsibilities to take action and drive projects. The placement organisation also made it enjoyable as they actively encouraged your growth. There are also lots of opportunities to get involved in outside of your job role such as volunteer activities, and other site activities that making working more enjoyable.
I enjoyed my placement very much. It was a great experience, that includes my responsibilities and other opportunities in which I could get involved, for example committees onsite. The intern community is also a great part of the working environment at Intel. Having other interns to share similar experiences with and go through the same changes with was really helpful. The large intern community also meant that we were able to hold many events and activities at work and outside of work.
My Placement has been extremely enjoyable, I was given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, adjust my scope around my interests and have the chance to get involved in tasks outside of my normal day to day responsibilities. As well as this, due to the massive pool of interns at intel, the social aspect has also been very enjoyable with many social and charity events being supported throughout the year that enabled an escape from work work work
A great environment to work in with an amazing team that continued to pushed me throughout my placement experience. My role came with a fair amount of responsibility - a good mix between testing my abilities without throwing me in the deep end. The intern community is great and I found a good mix between work/life balance.... a high level of work expected from me but flexible working allowed and socials every Thursday night - always fun.
I had a great experience at Intel. It is a large multinational company with an established internship scheme. Within my role, I have had the opportunity to meet our customers and both attend and organise events. There are also intern committees such as sports & social, Intel Inspire, and the publishing committee. Intel Inspire has been a very rewarding part of my internship, where I had the opportunity to get involved in volunteering to lead STEM activities for younger generation of pupils.
I have loved my internship at Intel and have gained invaluable experience. I was a sales operations analyst at Intel, working within the sales and marketing team. We were given a huge amount of responsibility with interesting jobs. The company also allowed me to explore my own interests, as I went onto shadow PR, finance and sales. You can make the placement year your own and get as much out of it as you want.
My time at Intel was extremely valuable experience. I met a lot of wonderful people who are very knowledgeable on the field of FPGAs and embedded systems. They always offered me a lot of support throughout my internship. Besides that I really liked the work environment and that It is very easy to interact with other teams.
It was a great experience and opportunity to work for one of the worlds leading technology companies as it allowed me to expand my understanding of edge devices and how different areas of IOT technolgoy is rapidly growing to create solutions that exist in everyday products, from the AI inference programs/technology being ran in modern vehicles or the latest and greatest in storage technology increasing the speed of data center workloads. I thoroughly enjoyed that there was plenty to learn and many opportunities to work in different areas of the business, the company is very open to supporting and facilitating your desire to learn something specific outside of your role.
My placement role was exactly what I was looking for to help me further develop my skill set according to the current industry requirements. It helped me explore the semiconductor industry and utilize my interest in the areas of my degree that I'm fond of. On top of this, it showed me skills that I did not know that I had while giving me the opportunity to improve them, both technically and time management wise.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at Intel, it is a great company to work for. I was given huge responsibilities in my role, hiring all of the following years' interns, and I was able to learn so many new skills and also develop my existing skills throughout this experience. With so many interns (around 50 each year), there is a huge intern community, meaning there was always loads of fun things to get involved with outside of your role as well.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my placement with Intel. I doubt that many other industrial placements would be able to offer such a great insight into corporate lifestyle, how business units work together, worldwide communication and teamwork efforts and customer communications. Specific to my placement, I was also put in a position where I was exposed to technology that I never expected to see, let alone work with. I will be sad to leave and return to my studies, but also excited to put my newfound skills and experiences to work to finish my degree.
