The Role
It was really inciteful and I was given an opportunity to experience everything that actuaries complete on a day to day basis.
I was given work that they would normally being doing and it felt as though I was trusted to fulfill this properly. Some of my work was issued to clients.
There was always support there. If you ever needed help with anything everyone was very willing to take the time to explain it to you.
There was always something to do even if it was filing.
I covered for the receptionist and was given a task that was to be issued clients however you were also given more mundane tasks as well.
It has helped me with organisational skills and maths skills as well.
The Company
It was a professional atmosphere with banter at appropriate times.
It was set up professionally and I felt that most of the information was conveyed to me well.
They helped me to understand things however if I was to become a full time employee I feel that I would receive slightly more guidance.
Company Parties/Events
Waiting to hear what there demands for staff are for next year.
The Culture
There was two of us working together and we didn't really talk that much. Though I didn't expect there to be a social scene.
It was a reasonable price - given I was based in city centre Edinburgh!
I didn't sample it but there is definitely something there if you wanted to..
There was the summer event which I was involved in and also a cricket match against a client.
