The Role
I found it insightful and a great education on the practical implementations of engineering.
Everyone made sure I was included in office social events and ensured I had the right type of work.
There was always someone around to give advice or help me out.
I was never overwhelmed with the work load I was given.
I was involved with payment processes with Amey's main client.
Showed me how to apply my university knowledge into real schemes.
The Company
It was obvious to me that Amey had been doing this for many years and knew how to Coordinate the new starts.
I was always given something to do and encouraged to actively seek out new schemes and jobs to involve myself in.
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I have been informed that if I write a report at the end of this current placement and it meets the requirements I would be able to apply again next year and there was potential for a graduate placement.
The Culture
Everyone got on well and had a good sense of humour
Tea and coffee were all free.
Five a-side football took place every week.
