    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Accommodation was provided in university halls for those working in Windsor and Staines and this created an excellent social scene amongst the fellow students, one of the best parts of the placement.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The accommodation was organised and paid for by Centrica. The cost of socialising was quite high due to the proximity of London.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • We lived in Egham with no night life during univeristy holidays, and we worked in Windsor where the nightlife was slightly better than Egham but still not great. London, and Richmond in particular, were reachable for better nightlife.

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Only through the networking that took place amongst the fellow students.

    2/5
