The Role
Starting the placement I was hesitant as I was placed in a team speciality i didn't know much about. However, the past 2 weeks have been the most fun I've had in a corporate environment, the work i've undertaken has been really interesting, the environment i've worked in has been very enjoyable and my team are fantastic!
From day one my colleagues have treated me as though i'm a full time member of the team, they have provided guidance, support and given me the oppuruntiy to take the reigns on projects, and after a hard day's work i was invited to informal drinks and dinners which was fantastic.
All of the management and supervisors I worked with have provided me with support and guidance when ever I required it and answered all questions I had.
I always had work to do, and on the rare occasion that I had finished my work, my supervisors were always quick to give me a subsequent task.
From the very initial stages of my placement I was given responsibility, whether it be taking part in client meetings, or developing my own development appraisals I was given the chance to feel like a real employee.
I believe that the skills I developed and traninig I received has significantly added to the remainder of my degree studies and even directed me on a path to complete my dissertation. Both this experience and my degree combined together will give me a great stepping stone into the industry.
The Company
Great young team, continual fun and great atmosphere!
At the beginning of the internship I sat down with my supervisors and directors and we made a plan for my time on the scheme, i felt it was very well organised.
The company took time out to train me on certain projects or take me to professional development courses which i found very beneficial.

The Culture
Yes our socials are alot of fun!
The area in which we lived and worked (Mayfair, London), was abit expensive but we made it work, utlising deals and happy hours.
The nightclubs and bars within the area are world class.
There were many oppurunities to get invovled in acitivies outside of work including site visits, company lunches, and golf days.
