    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Running weekly and monthly sales reports showcasing performance and retailer compliance insights. Helping the Sales Support with queries resolution coming from our retailer network. Many ad hoc tasks, usually involving dealing with sales data.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Absolutely. By the end of the placement you would be proficient on software like Excel, Tableau and Salesforce which are key to the role. As well, you will learn the basic corporate-job skills like time management, communication, teamwork, etc.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I would get as much responsibility as I asked for. Of course there will always be a minimum as there are some tasks you would need to do as part of your role, but you could always ask for more or seek for extra opportunities yourself.

  • Managers are VERY supportive. Sales Department is very supportive as well and they are very easy to reach out to.

  • Very chill work-life balance. In most roles (not all of them) you wouldn't be expected to work unrecognised overtime.

  • Definitely becomes better and better as time passes. Once you get the hang of what you're doing then you have much more freedom to start your own projects and initiatives, so if this is something you'd enjoy then the role is right for you.
