Overview
My role involved producing initial drafts of various Transfer Pricing documentations. Each intern was given a Partner to shadow and interns were frequently allowed to sit in on client meetings, collaborate with overseas Deloitte offices and pursue initiatives on business development.
Skills
I developed my skills of collaborating in a team, overcoming language barriers, producing various pieces of professional writing documents and creating presentation decks both internally and for external clients.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given responsibility to produce initial drafts of documentation and was able to get involved in client work very early on in the internship.
Support & Guidance
I received lot's of guidance and support. We were given a buddy for pastoral purposes and a People Leader/Partner for career development purposes.
Culture
The company culture was very inviting - our team had regular socials and the team was very supportive and open to listening to our concerns.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement I think that there were many learning opportunities along the way and the team I was in was very open to answering my questions which meant that I always felt reassured and supported.
