    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Assisted my line manager with some very large insurance claims for damage that occurred on estates that we manage from Storm Arwen. Managed all of the properties on the estates that we manage in North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Renewed and granted grazing licences, cropping licences and tenancy agreements to local farmers.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Improved my IT skills, including using Land App for mapping. Communication skills have improved as I have been communicating with contractors for projects on estates and communicated with farm and residential tenants very frequently, this then made my confidence grow as well.
