Overview
It was a 1 week vacation scheme, where you we were placed in a department of the firm. It was a great opportunity to understand what it is like to be a trainee at Mishcon, learn about the different practices of the firm and meet a lot of people and ask them questions.
Skills
As mentioned in my previous answer, you get exposed to trainee work where you can specifically develop your speaking and drafting/writing skills. It is a great opportunity to ask for feedback about your work and understand more what is expected from a trainee.
Business Insight
Understanding all about the business was great. Firstly because during the vacation scheme there is a lot of opportunities to meet people and hear more about the firm's different practice areas, and secondly because people are very approachable and easy to talk to.
Culture
The firm is deeply committed to its core values.The general atmosphere is great. It is definitely the right place to learn, be intellectually stimulated and meet great people.
