Overview
The job is a mixture of on-site and desk work. Depending on the team you are in depends on the work involved. Usually it involves a site inspection with the following days working on the report.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of new skills as well as improving my existing soft and hard skills.
Responsibilities
I was given responsibility during my year out. As time went on, the more responsibility I received. Although you gain responsibility, you always were working with a more senior team member which helped you continually progress.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support and guidance. You are given lots of responsibility on jobs but are continually guided and supported. Everyone in the team wanted to help and support you.
Culture
It was a hard working company which helps you develop a good work ethic. Everyone is very friendly and wants to help you improve as a surveyor.

I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and I cannot recommend it enough.
