    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Every day was different, there were always new tasks and skills to be learnt. Examples of work included: finding comparables, drafting ASTs, writing rent review letters, updating Tenancy Agreement Forms, net zero projects, undertaking property inspections and uploading them on software, using LandApp to create plans. I feel as though I learnt a lot and really got a taster of the role of a Rural Agent.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have learnt and developed numerous skills. For example, I have learnt how to use specialist software such as LandApp, TouchRight and APR, this enhancing my technological skills. My communication has improved through chatting to clients in person and on the phone. Organisational skills have strengthened as I have had to manage a variety of tasks each day and ensured they are all completed.
