Overview
Role was with the Reporting and Governance team within the Project Management Office. I was mainly responsible for invites, collating presentations, attending meetings and presenting occasionally.
Skills
I have improved in my presentation skills, excel and powerpoint skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, professional networking, multi tasking and being organised.
Responsibilities
Yes I was responsible for speaking in meetings, making presentations for meetings which include over 300 staff, altering invite lists, planning the reporting cycle for the next 6 months and process mapping/tracking.
Support & Guidance
Alot - I had a buddy and a placement lead who had a call with me every day for the first two weeks to ensure I was settled and had enough work. Also, others were very keen to help.
Culture
Lots of events for networking and learning more. Everyone was very friendly and always open to chat if they had the time.
