Overview
I was able to assist on site visits and inspections. This was really interesting and I got to see a number of jobs through from the start to the final report. Everyone in the team was very welcoming and gave me interesting work to do. Savills also provided lots of zoom calls for networking and introductions to different areas of the business.
Skills
I have leant more about data management, problem solving and communication as well as more technical skills such as measuring and valuing sites.
Responsibilities
I was given a good amount of responsibility and left to get on with work that I alone was accountable for. However, I always felt very supported and could ask any questions at any time.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support and guidance from the team. I was included in site inspections and given tasks to do but always felt well supported
Culture
The atmosphere was very positive and everyone in the office was really friendly. We also had a team building day which was very enjoyable and meant I got to know everyone a bit better
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement at Savills. I feel like I learnt so much about the industry and how a fast past business operates. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about the property industry and get valuable experience

I would recommend getting caught up on market movements and commentary as well as what it is that savills does and how they operate.
