  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • as a Surveyor at Savills overview of my role included giving qualified real estate advice and services. I regularly carried out property assessments and inspections, wrote valuation reports, and did market research. I communicated with customers and stakeholders to ascertain their property needs before making recommendations in light of my research. Additionally, I assisted with property management duties like tenant relations, rental assessment work, and lease negotiations. In order to guarantee projects were completed without a hitch and to help with any other surveying-related activities that came up as needed, I also worked closely with the larger team. My overall responsibility was to provide clients with accurate and timely property advice and services.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I got the chance to assume responsibility for particular tasks and add to client projects while working under the direction of professional surveyors and managers. I performed independent property inspections, wrote appraisal reports, and presented my findings to customers. I actively took part in client meetings, and I was in charge of answering questions from clients and giving them advise on real estate. I was able to hone my decision-making, problem-solving, and independence skills because to the level of responsibility that was placed in my hands. My professional development was aided by this experience, which also gave me a strong foundation in surveying.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I gained great experience working for a famous real estate company that exposed me to a variety of property portfolios and client initiatives. I valued the tough tasks, the chance to collaborate with seasoned people, and the chance to gain knowledge from their experience. The positive work environment, interesting tasks, and organization's dedication to quality made the experience pleasant. My interest in surveying was stoked by the internship, and it also reinforced my desire to work in the real estate sector.
