Overview
Involves excel data analysis, day to day calls with team, preparing annual/monthly reporting decks, working on various projects to improve processes within the firm.
Skills
Yes, improved my excel and powerpoint skills immensely as well as been able to learn python and apply to some projects. Also soft skills such as communication, time management, network building a nd critical thinking have improved substantially.
Responsibilities
Was given more and more responsibility as time went on and as I proved myself.
Support & Guidance
Received alot of support, enough for me to feel comfortable but also was not overbearing.
Culture
Encouraged networking and curiosity. Felt I was able to reach out for help without feeling like I was bothering anyone. Very flexible working hybrid environment to and very understanding of personal circumstances. Volunteering and social events was also in abundance, making it an inclusive open working space. Work hard, play hard mentality.
Your Impressions
Enjoyed it greatly, made alot of new connections and friends. Was difficult at time, with any job, but felt supported all the time.
