  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My Sales Support Intern role requires analytical skills to be able to create reports, assess data to show performance, create powerpoints for senior management. My day-to-day tasks consist of distributing and updating reports, assessing whether reports can be streamlined, and communicating with the field team regarding dealer admin.

  • My skillset has significantly widened since starting the internship. I have developed skills such as: - Excel - Managing deadlines - Communication - Teamwork - prioritisation

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I was given much responsibility as I was responsible for all of the data behind the sales team. My reports were used to assess performance and identify new opportunities. I also had freedom and creativity to produce them how I wished.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Support was much more available during the first month of my Placement during the crossover period which was extremely helpful, however after that there was still support available when needed but not as close by. This gave me the opportunity to figure things out myself which has benefitted my ability and bettered my problem solving skills.
