Overview
Carrying out COREP liquidity/capital reporting and providing commentary on large movements. Liaison with other departments to improve quality of data submitted to the regulators. Actively respond to targeted data requests of regulators. Maintain the regulatory reporting calendar and update on daily basis Maintain and update procedural documents detailing instructions on completion of reports.

I have improved my analytical, problem solving and excel skills significantly along with boosting my regulatory knowledge
Responsibilities
Yes, significant responsibilities given as all reports prepared are submitted to regulators and level of responsibility gradually increased as skills develop
Support & Guidance
The team and all other departments were very helpful and welcoming, everyone constantly supported and encouraged me to ask for help when needed. I regularly held catch-ups with the team to inform them of my progess and they assisted me whenever I needed help.
Culture
The company culture is very welcoming and appreciative. All Interns are welcomed very warmly with a bunch of fun activities and tasks to help them settle in to the company well

I truly enjoyed my placement as it gave me a strong insight into the finance industry allowing me to learn from my experienced and knowledgeable colleagues. Furthermore, allow me to make great friends for life and act as a stepping stone for my future endeavours.
