Overview
My insight week has been a very diverse and exciting experience, enabled by my day to day schedule, which was thoughtfully integrated and arranged by my mentor, I have been able to learn, in depth, the processes involved within varying areas of specialism in surveying. This encompasses; Surveying (Commercial, Residential and Development). The experience has been a refreshing mixture of both onsite viewings with prospective clients and engaging in-office tasks.
Skills
The insight week has enabled me to better my communication skills, through both in person and email contact with a large number of the friendly Savills Birmingham team. I have also learnt some of the key aspects Savills looks for in a prospective tenant, that shapes the lease agreement in line with the Landlords best interests, in order to secure a deal where the terms are both favourable and financially reliable without any problems.

Staff were extremely open and friendly, often keen to engage and initiate conversation / Offer Advice. The company culture seemed very inclusive, regardless of position or experience.
