    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role involved rotating around 4 different departments: valuations, property management, ratings and development. Each day was different from one another but normally consisted of working on reports, conducting site visits and networking with employees throughout the business.

  • Throughout my time here at Savills I have developed a number of transferable skills. In property management for example, I learnt how to read a lease which is sure to come in useful when looking to find a place of my own. In ratings, I developed a basic understanding of business rates and learnt how a property is 'zoned' and measured up to provide the overall rating value.
