Overview
Building consultancy reviewing properties in order to look at what to put on sites. Application to construction of buildings. Project management. Looking at leases to find the demise and so landlords know what is covered by the tenant.
Skills
Time management, teamwork, professional service to clients, computer skills (e.g. developed further my skills in excel and report writing), conducting site visits.
Responsibilities
I was taught a lot and got to oversee a lot of areas with my mentor. I wasn't given responsibility solely but was monitored closely when I was.
Support & Guidance
Support from the graduate team throughout when in need as well as any problems solved quickly. My mentor and the team supported me throughout and made time to explain when I asked questions.
Culture
Friendly and professional with everyone loving their jobs and passionate about the same things.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed learning and developing new skills as well as working in an enthusiastic welcoming team. I received high exposure to projects and thoroughly enjoyed site visits.

Apply early and thoroughly research the company before, not just for your interview but before your first day as it helps to know which element of the business you are going into. Further put yourself out there and talk to other teams about what they do.
