    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working in a deprived school in a city centre as a volunteer mentor. Working with children with either SEN, academic or behavioural difficulties/needs and supporting them through the academic year. My role is to support these children through the year by having 1:1 mentoring sessions, class work and building relationships. I will attend my students classes offering academic support and being a good role model in the class.
