Overview
We spent each day with a different department, some in-person and some on teams. We completed tasks typical of a trainee solicitor each day and were offered feedback on these. We had insightful coffee mornings throughout with staff from the departments we weren’t sitting in. There was a partner interview on the final day of the placement.
Skills
Coming from an entirely non-legal background I learned a lot of technical skills to do with client correspondence and drafting legal letters.
