Overview
Shadowing a graduate mentor within the property management department for the week. The days consisted of attending department overviews run by graduates in other departments of the company via zoom, also going out on site visits and completing tasks within the office.
Skills
I have learnt how to work within a professional environment and communicate with other team members, I have also learn how to manage specific day to day tasks within the office which has developed my knowledge for the future and enhanced my learning further to help with my university course.
Business Insight
The organised zoom meetings giving an overview of some roles within the business has been a useful insight to understand more about the company and its structure, it has also opened up options that I would not of know about and would definitely consider.
Culture
It is a professional company but the staff are very welcoming and helpful, the office environment can be busy at times but the atmosphere is friendly and easy to settle in quickly.
Your Impressions
I was unsure what to expect on the insight week but I have thoroughly enjoyed the week and would definitely recommend to other students, it has given me an insight to what is available for the future and other programmes to get involved in within the company.

To show an interest in the company and how it will be of benefit to your future also that it is not always about achieving the highest grades it is about showing your personality and how you can contribute positively to the future of the company.
