Overview
The day-to-day was mostly learning about the company, the division and the work that they do. This is to prepare the summer analysts for the full time role if they were chosen.
Skills
Learnt much more about the tax division and the technicals that go with it. Communication was important as well since everything was online due to COVID.
Business Insight
The way the programme was structured was such that the analysts get exposure on every level of the hierarchy from analysts to partners. Not only was it more personal but it was more insightful and this is the clearest way to understand the work that they do.
Culture
Super professional but friendly! There isn't a very clear hierarchal feel which is great because there is less intimidation going around, allowing us to share our ideas even to the partner level.
Your Impressions
Extremely enjoyable. Although the online setting was not ideal, I still managed to learn alot from the three weeks I was there.
Yes
Very teamwork based and communication is very important. Technicals are not that important at the start since everyone is learning together. Soft skills are the way to go!
