    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • I worked in a different department each day, ranging from the Wills and Probate department to Medical Negligence. One task was completed per day in each department which reflected a task that a trainee solicitor would do on a regular basis. There were also virtual coffee chats with other departments each day as well as a social evening.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I developed my time management skills through working in each department through submitting the tasks by the deadline. Furthermore, I worked on procedure for the first time in the tasks we were given and how we would undertake a particular task for the client.
