    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Week induction to complete Basic signalling training, then entered placement rotations. Each placement had different day to day tasks. DRACO (Solution Architects) involved python programming. Digitalisation & Innovation hub involved researching, independent training, Power BI and python programming. Planning (Bids & tendering) involved Excel, Power BI, Primavera P6 and technical writing.

Presentation skills 4. Photoshop skills

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a lot of responsibility but required a lot of trust by my placement managers. However, this depends on the placement and the work going on in the team.

  • I received a lot of support from my placement managers. However not as much from the graduate scheme itself.
