  • Flexible project work and day-to-day administrative tasks which vary from week to week depending on what strategic priorities the business are focusing on at the time. A fun and welcoming office environment with lots of collaborative spaces.

  • The biggest skill I have developed is my self-confidence, through networking, presenting and general conversations I feel a thousand times more comfortable communicating in corporate and social settings. I have also developed my HR knowledge e.g., policies as well as my awareness of how different HR function work together to create a happy place for our employees.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I was trusted to complete tasks independently, but there was always a subject expert to turn to if I did need support who was always more than happy to help. I also had regular 1-1s with my line manager to monitor my progress and create future action plans to achieve my goals.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Absolutely fantastic! I have never known an organisation where the people are so welcoming, friendly, and attentive to any questions or issues you have, especially within the first few weeks as I was settling in. I have made connections with employees from all across the business.

  • Show your authentic self in the recruitment process. Especially those apply for roles within the early careers programme. Hiring managers are looking for cultural fits and try not to base the hiring decision solely on skillset and experience.
