    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Day to day I spent most of the time using SQL and C# to product modules and customer-specific reports and tasks. Time is also spent speaking with customers, answering queries and resolving issues they may have. I also code review work and complete pull requests, as well as testing any changes I've made.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I've developed my C# and SQL skills throughout the placement greatly, as most of the day is spent doing either of the two. Communication skills have also increased due to working with customers and talking to other colleagues. I've also learnt new skills with LINQ and more in terms of the development process.
