The Role
Excellent, as involved and connected as it could be in the virtual working from home environment.
Incredibly, as a Placement Student you are by definition the least experienced person in the room, but your ideas and contributions are considered on par with your colleagues, whether you talk to a director or another placement student
My line manager is fantastic, supportive and conscious of what I want to achieve in my time at the Bank as well as what I can do for them.
Acceptably busy, its a challenging environment but that is good for learning as much as possible in the short time you have with them - which worked great for me.
I have in the first three months lead work that I was able to start and complete then present to senior management, engaging collaboratively with people at all levels
Its a chance to practically apply the hard and soft skills learned at university, which in turn builds those skills further to aid in your final year of study.
