The Role
I found the whole experience to be fun, whilst also being challenging and educational.
The people in the office were generally very friendly, everyone seemed to be genuinely interested in what I was doing.
Everyone was helpful whenever I needed guidance. My "trainee buddies" in particular were great; they really made me feel at ease.
I had something to get on with pretty much all the time.
I was given tasks I thought were genuinely helpful for the team, which made me feel satisfied with my work.
I developed skills and acquired knowledge which will serve me well in my professional career.
The Company
The atmosphere was more relaxed than I was expecting. Everyone seemed to be free to walk in and out of each other's offices.
It was mostly very well organised, although at times there were organised meetings in the middle of the day which sometimes clashed with other tasks.
I feel that a lot people really put time in to making my experience enjoyable and useful.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I will be joining the firm as a Trainee Solicitor!
The Culture
We had a couple of really enjoyable organised events, and I was also invited to a departmental event, which was great.
It is an expensive area.
There are some really good areas to socialise in within walking walking distance.
There weren't many activities to do, but we were able to contribute ideas for charitable giving, which I thought was pretty impressive.
