    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • People in my team and extended team trusted me with most tasks. I wasnt micromanaged, but then again if anything did happen I could return to my manager who would always step in if necessary.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Obviously being the first big job on a corporate basis I wanted to prove myself. I would take on a lot more than requested and always confirmed things were happening as they were meant to. However, this involved over-time which I dont feel should have got the recognition it deserved.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • See above comment.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Working on multiple projects at the same time, sometimes got difficult to keep an overview and got very stressful. People never want to hear a no. However, my boss did explain he believes I say yes too often and was aware of this workload.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • No one questioned my skills or work. They gave me a task and I went back to them as it was finished. If it took longer they understood and yet stayed supportitive.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
