  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • for the majority of my time on placement I have been busy working on a range of projects, every so often there is a day where I have been light on work however I used this time to develop my software skills or undertake training courses to learn new things and improve my awareness of the industry.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I have undertaken an active role in all projects I have been involved with. The reports I have originated have all been sent to clients or contractors showing the work I have been involved with is being used in the real world. I have been given lots of responsibility throughout my time, all work I do is checked and reviewed before being sent to clients.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skills I have learnt regarding new software will be transferable when I return to university to complete my degree. The report writing styles and techniques will enable me to produce more professional reports for university. The real world experience has put what I learn at university into prospective and shown how the skills learnt at university transfer to real projects.
