    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Massively enjoyed, treated like a full time team member and given real tasks rather than just fetch the coffee etc.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • For the experience I have (not too much) I feel very valued and people listen to my opinion.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • In the real world it is sink or swim really but my manager/supervisor were always there when I hit a brick wall

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • My job entails fixing customer bugs and over the summer months customers tend to not report as many bugs. However over winter and around the launch of a new product I was very busy.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • In charge of vital processes and handling some of my own cases. An intern could not really ask for more responsibility

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Like many interns I would argue I learned far more here than I have done during my University course.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very chilled atmosphere and very friendly team, almost a family atmosphere

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Organisation left a little to be desired, a lot of things were very last minute

    3/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I attended a few events but no personal training took place

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Very appealing, really enjoyed my time here

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Very good, 50 young people with a penchant for alcohol are always going to get on.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • More than I was used to but hardly London prices.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Pretty poor, small town not a lot going on.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Absolutely tons, lots of local charity work and events to help organise/take part in.

    3/5
