  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed the Internship, it was great to get involved in so many different things.

    • I feel I was valued as much as an intern can be due to my level and was able to help out with a variety of work

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • My mentor was very helpful and supportive. Due to my supervisor and team being very busy it was understandably hard for them to focus on me at all time, however they were happy to answer any questions i had.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I was kept busy with various on going work and research as well as having more urgent matters given throughout my internship. I was also able to get out of the office and come along on site visits.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given responsibility and trusted with my work and report writing , particularly as the internship progressed and they realized I was competent. I think it was difficult to give me substantial responsibility due to the nature of client facing work and my level.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Being able to apply what I have learnt at University as well as improving and developing these skills and seeing how they are used in the industry has been great. I also feel I have learnt a lot both for my future work and degree.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Everyone in my team has been very approachable, friendly and easy to get on with. I have really enjoyed getting to know them all and they have included me in many social events such from lunches to events with clients which has been a lot of fun.

    • The Internship has been exceptionally organised with clear instructions and checklists to help with the internship admin as well as organised lectures and events to gain insight into the wider business

    • I was able to learn a lot on the job and from members of my team although there was no formal training.

    • I have really enjoyed all aspects of my time here and would love to work at Savills in the future
