  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt really valued, there were many teams that i was involved in and all my ideas where noted down. I even took leadership in some of the projects i was involved in and was able to get this seen by Senior Managers

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was given a mentor when i first joined and pulled upon other mentors throughout the year. These mentors were more than happy to sit down with me once a week, look at my progress and see what else i could change in order to ensure i was still learning and growing throughout the year!

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • there was always something to do, there were daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc tasks that i had been assigned. The day is how you make it and how you prioritise. When i was going out to see my customer, i was very busy the next few days as that was focusing a lot of work for the customer as well as my day to day job. There is also so many opportunities to reach out to different departments and work on projects there swell and so there is always something to do!

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was giving a customer to work with and so it was my responsibility to manage the premier contract. i was also involved in leading the training of new tools coming into the company and training my team on how to use them. The responsibility that Microsoft is great! if you show that you will be able to handle it well and have gained trust from your manager, there is countless opportunities!

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • In every extent possible! My time management skills have been developed loads and this is going to be transferred not only in my University studies but also moving on to the future. I have developed great communication skills and have become much more confident in presenting - a key skill in any job role in the future. I have also become really good at developing strong relationships which will aid in great networking throughout my career.

  • My placement was really organised, as soon as i came, the intern that i was replacing had set up a hand over document which was all the roles that i would be doing throughout the year. Working with my mentor swell, i was able to reach out to new projects that i had interest in.
