  • Not much going on for the first 6 months. Picked up later on in the year.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • When I had work, a large amount, responsible for my own project for new clients. Very good.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Relevant engineering experience was gained to help in my degree.

    3/5

    The Company

  • Office was a little dull. But sitting next to graduates definitely helps.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Treated me like a graduate with relevant courses etc.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Working from home

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Great job to work in but I would prefer a job personally that always has work and not any lengthy periods of no work. It is the nature of consultancy I guess.

    2/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Graduates etc would go out for drinks every now and then.

    3/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Very expensive being in Surrey. I would advise looking else where for accommodation.

    1/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Graduates etc would go out for drinks every now and then. London is only an hour away, so travelling to there is fine for a night out.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes. Extra activities and clubs were available from rock climbing to football etc.

    5/5
