    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • My spring week at Deloitte was a very pleasant experience and my favourite insight of my 2 spring weeks. Everything seemed very coordinated and organised throughout the whole event. Although it is only for a few days, I’ve enjoyed meeting so many like-minded and great people including senior management and to listen to interesting presentations.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • My time at Deloitte was very inspiring and it was an unforgettable experience to be part one of the big four. I felt valued because I had the opportunity to talk to senior managers and our advisors encouraged everyone to get involved. Furthermore, all employees were friendly and sometimes started a chat and showed interest in us as individuals

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The guidance was great due to the constant support of your coaches. They stick with you during the whole week and give you personal feedback in your coaching sessions which is fantastic. Furthermore, the employees were very helpful as well and did their best to answer all of our questions.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned a lot more about audit in general and I am sure that it will be very useful in my degree and my career path. I have learned a lot of transferable skills and endurance as this internship was tougher than what I have imagined before starting the Spring Programme at Deloitte.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The Spring Programme was very well structured and planned out. All activities were scheduled and left little breaks. I would recommend a few more breaks to get your mind right. On the bright side, you never felt bored and was always kept busy. This ensured to get the most out of internship.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • I would describe the atmosphere as very pleasing. You do not feel any rivalry from the other candidates. Friendships were formed quickly. There are a lot of group works which gives you the opportunity to get to know your fellow peers. From all the activities, I enjoyed the night time activities the most.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company Deloitte has invested a lot for only a few days. Everything from paying for the transport, organising accommodation, events with senior managers and working with employees during activities were all very positive experiences and only reflected the big investment of the company in order to provide a good experience.

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • This internship helped me a lot to figure out what I want to pursue in life. Being an audit intern I have learned a lot about audit and tax and how different it actually is from what I have envisioned. Nevertheless, I loved it and especially being part of such a large organisation attracted my interest.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The networking event was very relaxed which allowed every intern to be very comfortable and get to ask all the things in their head without being afraid to ask silly questions. It was a network dinner with employees. It allowed to get to know more about the employees and the company in a more personal setting.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I already recommended the spring to my peers who take a 4 year degree and have the chance to apply in their second year. It is not just for students who are interested in audit but for people who want to develop their leadership potential and grow stronger as person.
