  • It really confirmed my interest in planning policy, I had real quantifiable influence and learnt very much.

  • The team I was in were friendly and helpful, and appreciated the work I gave.

  • I was given sufficient guidance but it was also good to get on with things and learn how to do it myself.

  • I was able to learn about the reality of planning and the industry, and learn real, lasting skills about how to consult clients.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I was slightly disappointed by the pay, although it was still certainly good for 4 weeks work.

  • Yes, definitely, although could have perhaps been organised differently.
