  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really insightful and got me involved in lots of different areas of the team

  • Very valued. I was asked to do many different tasks and was trusted to carry them out efficiently and effectively to meet a deadline

  • I was given lots of support when I needed it and felt comfortable asking all members of the team regardless of their position. Having not come from a RICS degree I learnt a lot

  • I never had a spare moment, was always going on site visits and was given a good amount of work

  • I was trusted to carry out different tasks so given a lot of responsibility as well as meeting clients

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Having not had a property background I have learnt a lot. I will take many of the things I have learnt at Savills to carry out my masters in September

  • Very friendly and the open plan allowed me to sit next to different members of the team everyday

  • Very well organised. There was lots of activities with the interns throughout the weeks I was there. The walking tours were really insightful and intersting

  • I was able to attend an excel training course as well as lots of lunch and learns

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of social events with interns as well as my team. Played softball in the park twice. Was disappointed not to get involved in the netball team

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was expensive

  • Didn't really go out much but the bars were fun

  • Disappointed not to get involved with the Savills sports teams
