The Role
I really enjoyed my time at the Bank. I was given meaningful work to do and felt valued by the team and the wider institution.
I was given very good levels of responsibility and was made to feel like a graduate rather than a placement student.
My managers were fantastic and all very supportive - particularly in helping me to learn and develop and providing me with opportunities to further my career at this early stage.
How busy I was depended on what was going on at that time. The majority of the time I had a good amount of work to do, and it was only very occasionally that I had to work late.
I was given a great deal of responsibility and was treated more like a graduate than a placement student.
I learned a great deal in my year at the Bank. There are loads of opportunities for furthering your knowledge such as seminars and mini-secondments.
The Company
The atmosphere in my office was very good. There were lots of socials arranged and everyone was supportive and friendly.
