  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Placement was thoroughly enjoyable, particularly because of the living arrangements we were provided with, it was very sociable!

    • I was extremely well valued, I was given an important project with huge financial implications for the future.

    • I was offered ample support by my team!

    • I had the perfect balance of work on an important project that progressed as I saw fit.

    • My project had extremely important implications, but I was working under the watchful eye of an Exploration Team and Managers, thankfully!

    • Definitely set me up for my future in the oil industry!

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Office was quiet during working hours, however there was always the opportunity to chat and joke. Out of work everyone knew how to let their hair down!

    • Very well organised.

    • We had the graduate team watching over us and we were each assigned a coach to confide in.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Oh yes!

    • Im used to Northern prices, but everything was still reasonable.

    • I made the extra effort to go in to London, as everything nearby was fairly dull.

    • Lots of opportunity for sport, ideal for someone like me. Easy to set up activities yourself and invite others to join.
