  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Loved it, best placement I have ever been on

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Every piece of work I did felt like it was contributing to the surveyors work load, if it was good I knew about it, if it wasn't up to scratch I would be given valuable feedback to improve it

    • The Hr team were great in keeping you on track and the people in the office were more than happy to help you find your feet

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The projects I worked on were great and it gave me real hands on experience to what University could only give me the theory

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Structure was good, HR had a great set up about where I was to be placed for the week but had enough room in there to move where the work was

    • Great, the best part of the placemetn was the team and the office dynamics, great place to work

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • As you are at a place of work there are always time restraints on how much one person can spend with you, but I felt I was given enough guidance where I needed it and left to carry on with someone to ask at all times if necessary

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Fully, without this I would have never had experience of working in an office so its been a great experience

    • Fully again, cant wait to start working here if im luck'y enough to get a job here in the future

    • If I had my time again I would of chosen property survetying before I did my other jobs

    • Paid in line with experience and work carried out, very happy

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • the company offers a hot desking culture as surveyors are often out and about in different cities, so I met plenty or people. Also my first week we arranged a drinsk things to meet more people

    • Great we arranged a festival night in Edinburgh and met everyone on a more casual basis

    • yes, they often do sports events here and there so was nice to try get involved with that
