  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed it, every day was different and everyone was very welcoming and happy to answer any questions

    • They always seemed to be grateful when I finished the work they had given me

    • Thy answered any questions that I had and were happy to show me how to use new software

    • I was given plenty to do by a variety of people so the work I did was hugely varied

    • I was given the responsibility of helping to decide tenant's rent following their rent renewals, and drafting letters which were sent out to them

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have furthered my knowledge of using excel and learnt how to make my way around new programmes which Savills use

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • I found the atmosphere really welcoming and everyone was very friendly, and took interest to see how I was getting on and were happy for me to accompany them to client meetings.

    • The first few days, there was work lined up and visits planned, after this - I worked for whoever had jobs for me

    • They took the time to show my how to work the in house software for three programmes which I had never used before

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There were only two others in the office, and we went for drinks a few times

    • I stayed in a student house which was very cheap

    • I didn't go out, but went for drinks several times
