    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed having real responsibility and the ability to make business impact. I was treated like a full time employee, not an intern which made the experience great as I was allowed to drive my own personal development and work streams with the support of the business.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My manager was fantastic. She made my experience at Microsoft. I would say I am leaving and independent individual with a strong work ethic and an understanding of a multinational. She empowered me to understand the business, the role of a manager and what I should expect from a company.

  • I found myself very busy and challenged on a daily basis. I preferred it this way and I involved myself in a lot of work. I had a great relationship with my manager and the team meaning I was able to free myself from work when I was swamped.
