    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoy the insight event. I got the chance to meet the female graduates working at Capgemini. They share about what it is like working at Capgemini and what the working culture at Capgemini is like. I enjoy the networking with the graduates where I had the opportunity to ask them questions and also be inspired.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I feel the company valued us very much. They organise such insight events so that students could get the opportunity to know more about the company before and after applying for a graduate position. The female graduates at Capgemini are really friendly and basically they give out their time in these events to share their experience. I feel very welcoming at the company.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The main purpose of the insight event is to get to know more about the company. The talk did not cover much about the application process, but we are more then welcome to ask them about it if we are in doubt. The graduates at Capgemini gave out their work email in case we have any questions about Capgemini in the future.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The experience shared by the graduates at Capgemini is really interesting, and that had made me to consider a graduate position at the company. The advice given by the graduates was very encouraging and I believe that it will help me in a long way throughout my studies and career. For example, they share how as a graduate, you are being treated equally as with other employees, and the support that you will be provided throughout your career at Capgemini.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight was well structured. We started on time and ended on time. Most of the time was basically a two way process where we had the opportunity to ask questions and the graduates answered them. But, the graduates were very eager to share their experience so the time for networking was cut short. Nevertheless, it was a great evening.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was really good, from welcoming to parting. The graduates greeted us and showed us the way around as soon as we arrived at the lobby of the office. All of them are really friendly and welcoming. They never make you feel as if the event is boring or unmeaningful.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The event was not focused mainly on personal training and development. Hence, not much of the time was invested on this. However, from the experience shared by graduates, I am certain that once you join the company, there will always be on going training and development that are tailored to you and your role.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The insight has given me a good insight of what it is like working in a management consultancy industry. That evening consisted of graduates within different sectors or departments and each of them talked about their roles in general. This has given me a broader insight into each role and has helped me to understand the graduate position at Capgemini.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The graduates share their experience related to work and also outside of work. These have helped me to understand the company culture much better than before I attended the insight event. There are lots of opportunities that employees could get involved outside work, and is up to individual interest. An example would be volunteering to raise fund for charity.

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • This event has helped me to judge whether the company culture is what I would like to be part of. The information provided by the graduates has also helped me to decide which main area within the company is what interest me the most. The contact details left behind by the graduates were helpful as these enable me to contact them should I have any doubts about the company or application process.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Transport allowance is not provided. Light refreshments were provided during the day.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There were networking opportunities with the graduates from the company even though there was not much time for it.

    4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • The networking event was great. They answered questions that you have in mind and if they couldn't, they would refer you to the best person to talk to on that day. The event was targeted at a small group of attendees so the graduates to attendees ratio was large enough to allow all of us to have the chance to network on that evening.

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, it was included during their sharing section. Basically, there are lots of opportunities that you could get involved in based on your interest and availability. There are times where you could take time off your work to get involved in charitable events. The company in general encourages employees to get involved outside of work.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Yes, I would definitely recommend this insight. It was enjoyable, informative and insightful.
