Retail Property Manager Review

It was a great opportunity to see what life is like working for Savills main office in London.

To a large extent, I was given responsibility and my own work to get on with which gives a great sense of pride.

A lot of support was received, My mentor was amazing and was very enthusiastic which has made me excited to work in the industry.

To a large extent they will assist me as I have learnt parts of law of property which were have not covered yet and so I will have an advanced understanding when we come to study it.

The week had planned activities and networking sessions which fitted around the tasks from the department very well.

Everyone in the office is friendly and welcoming. It is like joining a community and I felt part of the team even just for the week.

They laid out a breakfast and lunch during the week , with access to top directors and fee earners in the business.

It has shown me what it is like to be part of a team and have responsibilities in the property industry and dealing and communicating with clients.

The culture is one where everyone is on a level playing field and directors are as respected as graduates which is a great way to keep

The content of the day has given me an insight into the future work I would be doing and It has reaffirmed and in some cases persuaded me that the department is right for me.

The limit could have been higher to account for those who have to travel further distances into London such as myself. However it is kind enough of the business to offer any reimbursement!

There were loads of opportunities and the office atmosphere has allowed me to meet other directors and workers within the firm.

The networking events were friendly and it allowed us to ask any questions we had to the directors and get answers and help for later stages in the career. It is also good to see what they view the company as and how long they have been working with Savills.

Yes, there were sociable drinks and lunches which I attended which is great to get on with the team on a more personal level.

Yes definitely, if they are looking at a job in the property industry then it is certainly something that can't be missed. Savills is a great company to work for and they have great access for networking.
