I have really enjoyed my time at Computacenter I have had some great opportunities and been a part of an amazing team. The culture at Computacenter is so welcoming and friendly it really puts you at ease, everyone is always happy to help is you ask. IT is such a big industry and there are so many roles within it so it has been great learning more about those roles and where I see myself.
I have had a great year and been offered many opportunities. A workplace that really makes you work!
I really enjoyed my placement at Computacenter for many reason. One of the main reasons being the people that work here. The majority of people are so welcoming and are very willing to help and support. I have also enjoyed gaining a better understanding of the field I want to pursue a career in and it has given me invaluable experience.
I've absolutely loved my placement year. I've had multiple jobs over the 5 years before university, and Computacenter is by far the most enjoyable job I've had so far. The culture at Computacenter is very open and friendly, and within a month or two I felt comfortably settled there. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people and develop professionally. Only loses one star due to a slow start.
Good company to work for but not enough support through the programme
It was a great experience; the work really developed skills that would be transferable and applicable to my final university year and on-wards. However, my team, CC's culture and the other placements really made this year, and I will be sad to leave. The job was enjoyable and varied, and constantly evolving with new tasks being handed or created all the time so I never did the same thing everyday, and this varied routine was exactly what i wanted.
Great experience at Computacenter, having the opportunity to learn from many senior colleagues, be involved in exciting tasks and being part of a great IP cohort.

I had a great time on my internship. I was given a great amount of exposure and treated the same as any employee. There is a fantastic culture at Computacenter to help others and work collaboratively, and this was something that made my time here really enjoyable.
I absolutely loved my placement year with Computacenter. I have learned so much about businesses and the way they function and have developed huge amounts as an individual developing key skills that will be hugely helpful when I begin my search for graduate jobs.
During my placement year, there was a numerous number of projects taking place in which i got involved with. Some were more en joyful than others. There is plenty to learn from these, and as a student i feel its a good opportunity to gain an understanding of the Corporate world and what goes on within.
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Computacenter, I do not think I could have asked for a much better experience. It was everything a placement should be. I was given the chance to rotate around all areas of the Human Resource Department which gave me a real insight into how a HR department works in a large company. I believe my experience was invaluable.
Only need one word to describe my time at Computacenter - amazing! Everything about the placement is perfect, you are able to make it into a scheme that will deliver whatever your personal goals are. If you are more interested in commercials/finances, you have the freedom to focus on this. In whole the placement is bespoke for every student and is only limited by the student themselves.
I thoroughly enjoyed working for Computacenter during my work placement. It allowed me to get invaluable work experience for a professional IT company which has helped me immensely in my career since leaving University. It also allowed me to meet various colleagues who helped open a door for me to return to Computacenter after finishing my degree.
I really enjoyed my placement at Computacenter. When I first heard of the opportunity, I personally had never heard of Computacenter and was unaware of what they do as they deal business to business. I looked them up online and then quickly learnt that I was applying to a very successful FTSE 250 company with a great reputation among the large scale, global. corporations. My placement enabled me access to very senior individuals in Computacenter which is very rare to find at any other large sized business. I was given autonomy to complete tasks and was treated as an adult as soon as I started. They put trust in my judgement and would regularly ask for my opinion. The culture at Computacenter is phenomenal, very much work hard play hard, My team was very friendly and I was able to get visibility of what various divisions did across the whole company. It was a fantastic placement, it taught me how to behave in a corporate world and made me fall in love with the company.
Fantastic placement spent at Computacenter. I extended the length of this from 10 months to 13 months as I was taking so much away and learning a lot.
I had a fantastic experience at Computacenter and definitely enjoyed being challenged and the whole experience has made me more confident as a person which indeed shows in my personality now.
I truly ENJOYED and VALUED my time, experience and learning curves at Computacenter. I would urge any student to apply for (Although that sounds extremely biased) purely because the opportunities and development available can be career changing.
