  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great experience at Computacenter, having the opportunity to learn from many senior colleagues, be involved in exciting tasks and being part of a great IP cohort.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt extremely valued and this was demonstrated by having a real job from the start start of my placement.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had a line manager, a mentor and a wider support network during my time at Computacenter. The re is always someone willing to take the time out to talk to you.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was busy, and this was what i wanted from my placement to be able to deliver back to the organisation and i have achieved this at Computacenter.

  • I was given much responsibility and took full ownership of processes within my team.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • There are a number of skills i will take back to university.Microsoft Office skills and presentation skills to name a couple.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The was always a team atmosphere in the office, there was a good balance between serious work but also time to have a laugh.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • My placement has been running for 4/5 years now and this was evident, my year had a clear structure and development plan. Next years will be even better!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I went on various training courses to support my professional development. Including presentation courses, Microsoft Office courses and the industry recognised ITIL qualification. All of these will be extremely beneficial to me in my final year of studies and my future career.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I have built a great relationship and learnt many skills during my time with Computacenter , this puts me in a good position to rejoin when i graduate.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes we had a number of social events whether that be going for a game of top golf after work or going for a drink at the pub.
